5 Places That Heal My Soul When Burnout Hits


Sebagai seorang muslimahpreneur yang menjalani beberapa bisnis, burnout is not a stranger to me. Add to that my role as a blogger who loves to share daily journey, reflections and behind the scenes of life, sometimes my mind feels too full and my heart needs a pause.

Over time, I realized that healing doesn't it always mean stopping completely. Sometimes, it means changing places. These are the five place that always inspire me, calm me, and gently remind me of who I am and why I started.

1. A Cozy Cafe 

Cafe is my space. Not the noisy one, but a calm corner cafe where the aroma of coffee feels like a warm hug. I usually order a cup of coffee or warm chocolate milk, paired with a small snack, nothing fancy, just comforting.

Di sini, aku bisa membuka laptop dengan tenang. Sometimes I write a blog post, sometimes I reply emails, or simply reorganize my thoughts. The soft background music and gentle clinking of cups somehow slow my racing mind. Cafe moments remind me that productivity doesn't have to feel rushed. It can be soft, mindful and enjoyable.

2. Perpustakaan 📚

There is something magical about libraries. The silence, the smell of books, and the feeling of being surrounded by knowledge instantly calm me down.

Di perpustakaan, aku sering membaca novel luar negeri untuk refreshing dan membantu pembendaharaan kosakata aku dalam berbahasa Inggris. Kadang aku baca buku tentang fashion, branding dan business motivation. Reading helps me escape pressure while still growing. It's like resting, but smarter. Libraries remind me that growth can be quiet and elegant, not always loud or competitive.

3. Mekkah dan Madinah 🕋

This is where my soul truly breathes.

Saat berada di Mekkah dan Madinah, aku tetap seorang businesswoman, but only 20%. The remaining 80% is a servant, a daughter of Allah who comes with stories, worries, gratitude and tears.

Umroh is my deepest therapy. I curhat to Allah about anything, like business decisions, exhaustion, fears, and dreams. The atmosphere teaches me perspective: that no matter how big my workload feels, it is still small compared to the purpose of life. Di sini burnout berubah menjadi tawakal.

4. My Parents' House 🏡

Pulang ke rumah orang tua is like pressing a reset button.

chit chat tipis-tipis dengan Mama, sharing hal-hal kecil yang ternyata berarti. Sometimes laughing with siblings, sometimes just sitting together without talking much. Di rumah ini, aku bukan CEO, bukan founder, bukan blogger. I am simply "anak rumah".

This place reminds me that love doesn't require achievements. Just presence.

5 Pantai 🌊

The beach is where my thoughts dissolve.

Menikmati angin pantai, suara deburan ombak dan langit yang luas make me feel small in a good way. The ocean teaches patience and consistency. Waves come and go, just like a problems.

Di pantai, aku belajar bahwa burnout is not a failure. It's a signal to pause, breathe and realign.

These five places shape my healing journey. They remind me that a muslimahpreneur can be ambitious and soft at the same time. And when burnout comes again (as it always does), I know exactly where to go 🤍.
